A trip to Dallas, TX for a BH Management meeting. I flew in the 5th, got in around 5pm, checked in and realized I forgot all of my makeup at home. This led to an internal argument on whether or not I should venture out to a CVS or just door dash what I needed. After some thought, I decided to take the 15 minute walk. I will say I went into it scared, especially since this doesn’t seem like the nicest part of Dallas. But, none the less I was determined. Apple Maps took me on the weirdest route, through a tunnel (traumatizing to say the least) but I finally made it to CVS.

I actually contemplated not even bringing my camera. The last time I was in Dallas I didn’t get out at all and we were staying in a pretty removed part of Dallas. But I’m so glad I did! There happened to be a Cinco de Mayo festival downtown so I decided to check it out on my way back from the store. On my way there I took a few photos, nothing too noteworthy. Took me a bit to get my camera settings right but I got some really cool photos around the festival. I also felt pretty safe considering there was so much security around. If not, I probably wouldn’t have even made it to CVS and would have door dashed it instead.

Here are some of my favorite photos from Dallas. Although they aren’t as good as the ones I took in San Diego, I think I was still able to capture some really really good photos, specifically the gold statue. The eyeball was really cool, too. I actually took a family’s photo in front of it which was cute.
