To celebrate Blake turning 27 we took a long weekend get-away to Decorah! Some much needed r&r. He had a really cool bike route planned out, so while he went biking the first two days I got things situated at the camp site and went to grab groceries. We stayed at a campsite in Elgin, not far from Decorah. Everything went waaaaay smoother this time putting the tent so that was a relief. We made smash burgers (well, we tried) on our little camp stove. It was nice to not feel rushed the next morning since we didn’t have any dogs to feed. After we finished camping, we packed up and I went back at the park in Fayette and waited for him to finish his bike ride. After that, we booked a tee time for a golf course right outside of Decorah, not far from our cabin. It was such a beautiful golf course, pretty challenging as well. I felt like I played decent, but I had fun so that’s all that matters. 🙂
